EXCITING EVENT!
We are excited to be welcoming the Northern Ballet Theatre group to The Centre, for a workshop called “Dancing Signs”, a dialogue between dance and sign language!
Dancing Signs is an exciting collaboration between Northern Ballet and the Leeds Society for Deaf and Blind People. A series of creative workshops will take Northern Ballet’s Jane Eyre as a starting point to explore a dialogue between dance and sign language.
There will be 5 days of dance workshops led by Northern Ballet at The Centre, culminating in a presentation to share the groups’ exploration, this will take place at the Leeds Deaf Social Club on Tuesday 22nd of May!
